On the Flapjack Wiki Harbor, we use Featured Articles to determine if an article is clean and has standards to be read properly without starting anything unofficial.

Meeting Nomination
To meet a nomination, there are a few things to be done first:
- Make sure it has good spelling and grammar
- Make sure it has enough punctation
- Make sure it has no spam
- Make sure it has enough refrences
- Make sure it has no notifying templates
- Make sure it is long enough and is organized
- Make sure it looks like it has enough technique, say infobox templates
Usually a featured article will have all of those. But sometimes, it can differ.
How To Support or Oppose
Supporting or opposing the article's nomination is easy. All you do is use the # and use this {{user|Your_user_name}} and then you can give a little description. Here's an example:
Nominated Articles
Some articles are now featured. It will usually have the template {{Template:Fa}} to make it officially be nominated. The template could also be {{Template:Nfa}}.
