The Professor is the sibling of The Inventor from Several Leagues Under the Sea, but unlike his brother, who specializes in underwater vehicles, this professor specializes in aerial vehicles. Also unlike his brother, he is a very kind and caring man, and built a Grand Flying Contraption for Bubbie, whom he inexplicably loved. The grand flying contraption is another reference to Jules Vernes work in Around the World in Eighty Days. It was announced in the episode The Return of Sally Syrup that The Professor is Sally Syrup's father.

• At end of the episode Several Leagues Under the Sea, as it was to appear that The Professor and his brother were making up ( peace between them), The Inventor pulls out a remote control and explodes his sibling`s Grand Flying Contraption, and in retaliation for what happened, The Professor destroys his brother`s Woosh and they begin a small slapping fight.
