The Alpha Whale was an automated whale that was used in a race against Bubbie. This submarine resembles Jules Vernes Nautilius. Flapjack got Bubbie in the race by bragging about her being the fastest thing in the sea. In the race against Bubbie The Alpha Whale was behind at the beginning of the race, to save the children working inside's energy. After a while, they started to use foul play, firing the children at Bubbie, even poking her in the eye with an automatic finger. Bubbie then was trapped by a net fired by the The Alpha Whale, so the The Alpha Whale took the lead. However, the children inside had a 'scheduled break' given to them, giving Bubbie enough time to catch up. The Sea of Teeth was ahead, and the owner of the The Alpha Whale fired all his children minions at the sea monster that appeared, little did he know that there was no one to power his boat anymore. Bubbie and the crew had taken a lead, but Flapjack felt bad for causing all of the children to fall off into the Sea of Teeth that Bubbie and him turned around to save them. Flapjack thought they lost the race, but even with saving everyone the The Alpha Whale had no power left, it came down to a photo finish where Bubbie won by a tongue.

• The Alpha Whale was originally going to be Bubbie, but this did not come to pass for reasons unknown.
• The Alpha Whale was also seen in several leagues above the sea.
• The Alpha Whale was subsquently destroyed by a bomb, detonated by The Inventor`s brother, The Professor in retaliation for for this one destroying his Grand Flying Contraption|The Alpha Whale appears in Fusionfall.
